New Feature, The Potential Match!

We just implemented a new feature that allows you to receive an email any time a new post is entered into the system that matches one of your posts!  Now, when there's a post that should be interesting to you and your clients, you will be notified.  This is going to allow you to have up-to-the-minute updates for any posts.

I should probably add a preface that we snuck a new feature in a couple weeks ago, the "Potential Match" button you see when you are looking at your own post.  This button allows you to see all of the posts in the system that match your posting's criterias.  It only shows up if there is at least one exact match in the system, so you may not have even noticed it.

On to the good stuff!  I've decided that I want to see all of the lease properties in Austin, as they get entered into the system.  All I do is create a need post for a lease in austin without a price range and I'll get an email every time a lease in austin is added.  I get quite a few emails this way.  When I have a client looking for a lease, I'm able to see everything in MLS as well as all of those west campus properties that never seem to be added!  Often, I'm seeing things for pre-lease on AgentListServ so my clients are aware of properties before many other potential tennants which allows them to get the property they want, not just the one that is available.

The one challenge, and it isn't that large, is that it has to be an exact match to generate an email.  If one of the features does not match. like a member is a looking for a townhouse and you have a condo, it will not trigger as a potential match.  This just means it is better to come to AgentListServ.com and scroll through the listings to find that perfect deal your client is looking for more than just relying on a fully automated system, but we knew that to begin with.

With our new features, we're able to find a happy medium between the automatic element and the human element.

Lake front properties can currently generate some non-specific matches so if you're looking for Lake Travis, you may get a match for Lake LBJ.  We're in the process of streamlining this.  Stay tuned for future updates!
